The Cumberland Heights Annual “Reaching New Heights” Luncheon is set for Wednesday, April 3, 2019, at 11:30am at Hillwood Country Club. This annual women’s event is an important fundraiser for the alcohol and drug-addiction recovery center. This year’s keynote speaker will be Tara Conner. Tara was crowned Miss USA in 2006 and is a television personality and recovery advocate. She is celebrating nine years of sobriety after checking in to drug and alcohol treatment in Dec. 2006. In addition to an engaging speaker about drug and alcohol addiction, Tara is a television host, singer/songwriter, actress and model. The mission of “Reaching New Heights” is to highlight the women’s programs at Cumberland Heights, raise funds to help women in treatment and celebrate women in our families and community who are experiencing their own recovery one day at a time.
