THE FRIENDS OF FRANKLIN PARKS HOST THE BEST SEATS IN THE HOUSE FOR THE FOURTH OF JULY FIREWORKS

Join the City of Franklin and Friends of Franklin Parks in celebrating the Fourth of July! This Independence Day celebration will feature music, food, and fireworks at the Park at Harlinsdale Farm in Franklin! The Tractor Supply Co. Arena will be open to the public starting at 5:00 PM for pre-fireworks music by People on the Porch (6:00 PM) and Rubiks Groove (7:00 PM).
Sonic will be supplying hot dogs, grilled hamburgers, and corndogs for purchase! And, adult beverages by Lipman will be available including Napa Smith Brewery Beers, Lonely Cow Wines, Hap & Harry’s products, and Hidden Jewel Wines
 
Kids activities will also be hosted in the Tractor Supply Co. Arena. Activities include old-fashioned kids games, craft tent, Padrinos Pops, and Bluegrass Kettle Masters. Bring blankets and chairs to view the entertainment and fireworks show!
 
Please, no outside coolers allowed.

Franklin on the Fourth – Downtown Franklin

“Franklin on the Fourth” in Downtown Franklin, TN – The annual Independence Day celebration begins at 10 a.m. on July 4th.

The free festival kicks off at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 4th, with bluegrass music playing from the stage.  Food vendors include everything from roasted corn on the cob to BBQ; ice cream to nachos; and corn dogs to smoothies.  Craft vendors will fill the area with wood working, jewelry and other handmade items. 

Our presenting sponsors, Kroger and Williamson Medical Center, will have booths right on the Square.  Antique cars will line Main Street between the square and 4th Avenue.  The kid’s zone on 3rd Avenue North will have inflatables, a petting zoo, and pony rides.  The always fun Children’s Parade begins lining up at 4:45 and starts at 5 p.m. 

Franklin on the Fourth ends at 8 p.m. to give attendees time to get to the Fireworks Display at the Park at Harlinsdale Farm.  The display, put on by the City of Franklin will begin at approximately 9 p.m.

“Franklin on the Fourth” is coordinated by the Franklin Lions Club and TN Events in conjunction with the City of Franklin.  All proceeds benefit the Franklin Lions Club. 

REMEMBER !!
The tradition of the “Children’s Parade” will continue and begin at 5:00 p.m. (Children will begin lining up at a designated marked location at 4:45) There will be Prizes for best costume and decorated bikes and wagons. Pets are welcome!

The event begins at 10 a.m. and ends at 8:00 p.m.
