The Heritage Foundation’s Main Street Festival returns to downtown Franklin, TN in April 28-29, 2018 (10:00 – 6:00 Saturday and 11:00 – 5:00 Sunday).
The free spring celebration, which is one of the largest events in the Southeast, is expected to draw a crowd of thousands for a fun-filled weekend of music, arts and crafts, food and children’s activities.
FRANKLIN, TN — Spring is back, and so is the Heritage Foundation’s Main Street Festival, presented by First Tennessee Bank. The free popular spring celebration returns April 28-29, 2018, to downtown Franklin and is expected to draw a crowd of about 130,000 to historic Main Street for a fun-filled weekend of music, arts and crafts, food, and a fun filled kid’s zone.

This year, live music will take place in three areas: The GUITAR CENTER STAGE on the Public Square, Music Corner located inside the Mantra Beer Tent and the music stage on the corner of First Avenue and Main Street. We are excited to announce the “Wannabeatles” tribute band and the “Faithfully” tribute band will be performing on the Guitar Center Stage located on the public square Saturday. DARK HORSE INSTITUTE and the Heritage Foundation of Williamson County are pleased to announce the first annual Battle of the Bands at this year’s Main Street Festival. This will be held from Noon until 3:00 p.m., Sunday, April 29, 2018. Guests will enjoy performances by the best high school-aged contemporary musicians in Williamson County as they compete for more than $10,000.00 in prizes.
The centerpiece of Main Street Festival is the juried arts and crafts show featuring more than 150 artisans and crafters with handmade wares. Vendors will feature jewelry, pottery, furniture, woodworking, leatherwork, photography and more from First to Fifth Avenues and 3rd Avenue South. No street festival is complete without food. This year, more than twenty-five vendors will offer an international assortment of food including original corn roast, barbeque, Greek food, Mexican cuisine, Italian ice and old fashioned soda. You can find wonderful food options on Third Avenue North, Fourth Avenue North/South and the Public Square. And as always, kettle corn, hot dogs, and funnel cakes will be offered. The Mantra beer garden located down Fourth Avenue South will feature a variety of beer along with Next Gen offering up some refreshing Sangria.
Proceeds from the event benefit the Heritage Foundation of Williamson County and its division, the Downtown Franklin Association, and their missions, respectively: to protect and preserve the architectural, geographical and cultural heritage of Franklin and Williamson County, and to promote the ongoing economic revitalization of Downtown Franklin in the context of historic preservation.
Main Street Festival activities will run Saturday, April 28, from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Sunday, April 29, 11 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

One of the most anticipated–and popular–events of the year in Williamson County! The two-day weekend event will feature more than 200 artisans & crafters, dynamic live entertainment for all ages, a dedicated kids’ areas and an international food court.
The festivities will resume April 23-24, 2016
The event is expected to attract some 125,000 visitors to a full slate of family-oriented activities, non-stop musical entertainment and international flavors of more than 20 food vendors.
The centerpiece of Main Street Festival is a juried arts and crafts show featuring some 200 vendors with original and hand crafted wares. Oil and watercolor paintings, pottery, jewelry, furniture, woodworking, ornamental iron, stained glass, photography, home and garden accents, birdhouses, leatherwork, and much more will be showcased on Main Street from First to Fifth Avenues.
In addition to a juried arts and crafts show, the festival offers a special area of children’s activities on Third Avenue South between City Hall and the Old Courthouse.
October 24, 2015 from 10:00am to 6:00pm in Historic Downtown Franklin TNFranklin’s favorite celebration of fall returns! The festival stretches along Main Street and its avenues and offers tons of festive fun for families.
Attendees can expect a day of live music, costume contests, an array of arts and crafts booths, a chili cook-off and so much more!! Church of the City will sponsor a full block of free children’s activities on Third Avenue South.
Producing Pumpkinfest is just one of the many activities of The Heritage Foundation of Franklin & Williamson County. Since 1967 the non-profit group has been dedicated to protecting and preserving Williamson County’s historic, architectural and geographic resources; in short, saving the places that matter.
