Herald Reports

Williamson County residents have several locations where they can take their cut Christmas trees for recycling and several sites are accepting them through January.

The City of Franklin is accepting trees through Feb. 1 at Jim Warren Park, Liberty Park, and Fieldstone Park, as well as offering curbside service. Brentwood residents have until Jan. 15 to take their trees to Crockett Park, Granny White Park or River Park, and in Fairview trees can be taken to Bowie Park Nature Center until Jan. 31.

In addition, trees can be taken to convenience centers throughout the county.

Trees should be free of lights, ornaments, tinsel, tree stands, plastic wrapping and nails.
