Hammers & High Heels

Habitat for Humanity Williamson-Maury will host their annual Hammers & High Heels event on June 2nd at The Factory in Franklin.

This festive evening will include:

  • Cocktail Reception from Gray’s on Main and H Clark Distillery
  • Silent & Live Auction
  • Gourmet Dinner Buffet
  • Dancing with music by RubiksGroove

Each year more than 10,000 women join construction teams nationwide during The National Women Build, raising their hammers to help build affordable housing in their own communities. In April, Habitat for Humanity Williamson-Maury will kick off its ninth annual Women Build.  Funds raised from sponsors, individual donors, and the Hammers & High Heels event help raise the $70,000 for the cost of “bricks and sticks” to build the home, covering everything from the foundation to the kitchen sink.

More than 300 volunteers will come together during the seven-week build, putting in 2,400+ labor hours to make the dream of homeownership a reality for a single mother in need.

Friends and businesses have the opportunity to support their local Habitat’s Women Build and the Hammers & High Heels event through a range of sponsorship opportunities. For more information, contact Jennee Galland at  jgalland@hfhwm.org or615-550-5617.
