Williamson County Parks and Recreation is pleased to announce an Easter Eggstravaganza at Timberland Park on Wednesday, March 21. The event (for ages 3 to 5 with their parents) begins at 10:00 a.m. Be sure to bring a basket so the kids can enjoy an outdoor egg hunt. The Easter Bunny will also be on hand so bring your cameras. Timberland Park is located at mile marker 437.2 on the historic Natchez Trace Parkway, south of the Highway 96 entrance. Timberland Park is a 72-acre rustic wooded preserve with a staffed, 2000-square-foot interpretive center and trails for hiking, bird watching and wildlife observation.

HOP INTO SPRING AT THE ZOO’S EGGSTRAVAGANZOO!
Nashville Zoo’s annual spring celebration is back with egg hunts and Easter treats for children of all ages. Activities during the day include 10 scheduled egg hunts for kids, a Zoo-wide hunt for golden eggs, spring-themed games, bounce houses and face painting. Special appearances by the Easter Bunny and Zoo mascot Twiga!
Activities take place from 9 am – 4 pm. Specific egg hunt schedules are to the right.
Eggstravaganzoo (excluding Bunny Breakfast/Lunch) is included with your Zoo admission or membership.

The library’s Easter egg hunt will take place in the area between the library and Lipscomb Elementary School. Face painting and the jelly bean guess begin at 2:00 and hunt starts promptly at 2:30. The park will be divided into four age groups and there will be thousand of eggs distributed. Bring a basket to collect your eggs and bring your camera to get a picture with the Easter Bunny. Parking is available at the library, at River Park and at the Civitan lot next to Lipscomb Elementary.

Register now for the first annual Easter Egg Dive, Sunday, March 20, 2016 at the Longview Recreation Center at Spring Hill, 2909 Commonwealth Dr., Spring Hill, TN, 37174. This underwater egg hunt takes place in the indoor pool. The Easter Bunny will be there so bring your cameras.

Williamson County Parks and Recreation invites area residents to hop on over to the FREE annual community Easter Egg Hunts on Saturday, March 19, 2016 promptly at 10:00 a.m. at the Franklin Recreation Complex, 1120 Hillsboro Rd. and the Fairview Recreation Complex, 2714 Fairview Blvd. Children ages 10 and younger are invited to attend! Hundreds of eggs will be scattered and some eggs will contain special prizes! Don’t forget your basket or sack for gathering eggs. The Easter Bunny will be available for photos, so bring your cameras! Please arrive early to allow for parking and walking to the fields.
