Bring the whole family to meet Santa, play a variety of games, and enjoy a magic show by Scott Humston starting at 9:30, 10:30, and 11:30! The events are free but tickets are required. Pick yours up at the Children’s Service Desk during library business hours!
The Brentwood Library is proud to present the 16th annual Morning with Santa on Saturday, December 5th. Magician Scott Humston will be on hand again this year to amaze and delight us with his fascinating magic and hilarious showmanship. Everyone attending the magic show must have a ticket. The magic show will be offered at three times: 9:30,10:30 and 11:30. There will also be balloons, refreshments, face painting, music, giveaways and of course, Santa Claus. The event is free, but tickets for the magic show are available on first come-first serve basis at the Children’s Service Desk beginning Monday, November 23rd during regular library hours. The Polar Express Reading & Tree Lighting Ceremony – Monday, Dec. 7, 5:30-7 p.m. Free event. Tickets are required for readings but not the lighting ceremony. Polar Express readings will be 5:30 and 6:30 p.m. The Dedication and Lighting of the Tree will be held at 6 p.m. Also, enjoy holiday treats, warm cider, and special music performed by Ravenwood High School. To reserve a spot, call Pat Ladnier or Missy Dillingham at 615-371-0090. The Library tree has two new figure additions – Cat in the Hat and a Nutcracker.
