Santa visits the market on December 10, 2016. Bring the kids to visit with Santa and snap a picture of Santa asking what each child wants for Christmas. It’ll be a fun day for local families!

CoolSprings Galleria is excited to kick off the holiday season with the arrival of Santa Claus on Friday, November 4 at 6 pm.

In partnership with the Goddard School for Early Childhood Development, join us for a fun-filled event to welcome Santa Claus to CoolSprings and kick off the holiday season.  Activities will include musical entertainment and interactive games.  Children under 12 who wear their pajamas to the event will receive a FREE pillowcase (while supplies last).  Entertainment will include music, games, sweet treats, story time, and more!  The fun starts at 6 pm in the lower level Center Court near Dillard’s.

Santa Claus will be available to hear children’s wishes Monday through Saturday from 10 am to 1 pm, 2 pm to 5 pm, and 6 pm to 9 pm; and Sundays from noon to 3 pm and 4 pm to 6 pm.  Santa’s visit to CoolSprings Galleria is from November 4 to December 24 at 5 pm when he begins his Christmas trek around the world.  Santa is located in the lower level Center Court near Dillard’s.

Looking to save a little time during your visit to Santa? Shoppers can visit CoolSpringsGalleria.com to purchase a “FastPass” to visit Santa. The “front of the line” pass is available by visiting the mall website and pre-purchasing your photo package. Shoppers with a “FastPass” will have a separate line and can avoid the wait!

Holiday Storytime at the Franklin TN Visitors Center

Story Time returns to the Visitor Center in Downtown Franklin, Tennessee on December 5th at 11:45 am.

 

Bring the whole family and enjoy Santa reading “Twas the Night Before Christmas” followed by a special meet n greet. Attendance is limited so get there early to secure your spot! Your favorite holiday characters will be reading beloved holiday stories to boys and girls of all ages this holiday season.

The magic of the season comes to life during the special meet ’n’ greets with all the characters immediately following their stories. This year, you can meet the Sugar Plum Fairy, Buddy the Elf, Princess Elsa and even Santa Claus himself! This is a great way to celebrate the holiday season with the entire family.

So, pack up the kids (or just yourself), and come on down to the Visitor Center to share in the spirit of the holiday season!

 

Breakfast with Santa & the Minions

Breakfast with Santa Franklin TNSanta will be making a special trip from the North Pole to visit the Franklin Recreation Complex, 1120 Hillsboro Rd. for “Breakfast with Santa” on Saturday, December 5, 2015 from 8:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Those mischievous minions will be on hand, and Williamson County Parks and Recreation invites parents and kids ages 10 and younger to join the fun. A continental breakfast will be served, including pastries, muffins, milk and fruit juice. During the event, each child will have time to sit on Santa’s lap and share Christmas toy wishes. The cost is $10 per child (parents are free). Bring your cameras and take your own photos with Santa!

Jingle Bell Run:Walk for Arthritis-Franklin TN

The Arthritis Foundation is hosting its annual 2015 Franklin Jingle Bell Run/Walk on December 5th in Historic Downtown Franklin.

The Jingle Bell Run/Walk is the Arthritis Foundation’s nationwide holiday event that raises critical funds for research, programs, and services to prevent, control, and cure arthritis, while also raising awareness for the #1 cause of disability in the U.S. This is a fun, festive 5k run 1/k walk for the whole family and your dog(s)! Put on your reindeer antlers and running shoes and come join us for some holiday cheer! We anticipate 1,200 race participants, plus spectators at this event.

The Farm at Natchez Trace – Join us on Wednesday, December 2nd and Friday, December 4th from 5pm-8pm each day for our annual evening of hot apple cider, Christmas cookies and…Pictures with Santa!

This year’s event will benefit Bonaparte’s Retreat. No appointment is necessary and we’ll be welcoming Leila Grossman of Grannis Photography back to take photos in front of The Farm’s lovely stone fireplace.

Pet portraits – with or without Santa Claus – offered at Farm at Natchez Trace

The Farm at Natchez Trace, a unique pet lodging, bathery and spa, and “Dog’s Day Out” day camp facility, will offer holiday pet portrait packages with Santa Claus to benefit Bonaparte’s Retreat.

The annual event will be Wednesday, Dec. 2, and Friday, Dec. 4 from 5-8 p.m.  Leila Grossman of Grannis Photography will take portraits of pets in front of a huge stone fireplace with holiday decorations.

Pets and people may have their portraits made with Santa, or without, if preferred. There can be any combination of pets, children and adults.  Package prices start at $60 and the photos make great holiday cards and gifts.

Santa and his helper are experienced dog handlers and will be able to help pose pets however needed. No appointment is necessary and there will be refreshments for pets and their humans.

Founded in 2004 by Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Emmylou Harris, Bonaparte’s Retreat is named for one of her beloved dogs who traveled on the road with her.

Bonaparte’s Retreat Dog Rescue is dedicated to providing nurturing care for adoptable dogs when their allotted time at the shelter has elapsed. The mission is to prevent these wonderful animals from being euthanized and to adopt them into permanent, loving homes.
