We look forward to another successful event in November to help raise funds to support our mission of providing quality healthcare to ALL, regardless of ability to pay.

campaign_14_536About Mercy Community Healthcare
Formerly Mercy Children’s Clinic, Mercy Community Healthcare reflects the love of Jesus Christ by providing quality and compassionate healthcare to both the insured and uninsured in Williamson and surrounding counties – with a focus on Pediatrics, Adult Primary Care and Integrated Mental & Behavioral Health.

Mercy has a staff of more than eighty full and part–time staff. Each of our physicians is Board Certified. Our patients come from more than thirty counties in Tennessee, and even from different states. Why do they come from so far? Great doctors giving great care! In the for-profit medical communities, it is unprofitable to care for the under-served and uninsured. Consequently, 70% of Mercy’s patients are uninsured or TNCare and that’s why we need your support.

  • Mercy physicians work ONLY at Mercy. Every patient has their doctor.
  • More than 10,000 patients from more than 30 counties call Mercy their healthcare home
  • Mercy experiences more than 26,000 patient visits annually
  • In Mercy’s four county (Williamson, Maury, Hickman, and Marshall) service area, the patient to doctor ratio is more than 4,000 to 1. For Behavioral Healthcare, the ratio is more than 6,000 to 1.
  • There are an estimated 50,000 uninsured persons in our service area

Mercy Community Healthcare is known for it’s accessible, affordable, compassionate, whole-person care as we serve our neighbors in body, mind, and spirit. No one is turned away because of their inability to pay.

Complimenting primary healthcare, Mercy provides comprehensive mental and behavioral health services to our clients. Mercy Behavioral Health, begun in 2006, currently has a full-time Psychiatrist, a full-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and four full-time therapists providing state certified mental health counseling for our patients and their families. Additionally, our staff works in collaboration with other agencies in our community to provide food, clothing, and shelter.

Mercy has two primary revenues streams; reimbursement for services from TennCare and commercial insurances
(Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Aetna, etc) and tax deductible donations ($1 million annually) that allow us to care for the uninsured.

For more information about Mercy please visit our website: www.MercyTN.org

Mercy must raise over $1 million a year to cover the costs to serve our uninsured patients. Please add a donation to your registration or click to the DONATE NOW button below to make a tax deductible donation today!

Pilgrimage Music & Cultural Festival, Franklin TN

Pilgrimage Music and Cultural Festival Franklin TN 2015Pilgrimage is a music and cultural festival debuting in September 26-27, 2015 in Franklin, Tennessee.  Pilgrimage Music & Cultural Festival invites folks of all ages on a journey to experience a myriad of musical styles, a bevy of food and beverages, and the rich regional spirit of Franklin, TN.

Like most great ideas, Pilgrimage Music & Cultural Festival was inspired by friendship, history, and the desire to create a meaningful experience. Two years ago, Musician and Franklin, TN resident Kevin Griffin was on a September morning jog through The Park at Harlinsdale, a century-old horse farm recently purchased by the City of Franklin. Kevin was so taken by the rolling hills, natural amphitheaters, and breathtaking vistas of the 230-acre farm, he envisioned it as a natural fit for a music festival venue. Considering Franklin’s place, Kevin wanted people to understand the beauty and rustic quality of Middle Tennessee in the fall, and with the blessing of the City, began to dream up a music festival to do it justice.

Partnered with lifelong buddies W. Brandt Wood and Michael Whelan, the trio aspired to highlight the diversity and community spirit of the New Orleans Jazz Fest, tailoring the best elements to Franklin– a richly historic town just 20 minutes south of Nashville. Like Jazz Fest, Pilgrimage will take place during the day, and offer a diverse yet renowned lineup of rock and roll, alt-country, bluegrass, jazz, indie, gospel and more. Performing on patina-clad stages reflecting the area’s aesthetic, many bands will “crank it down” and give a partly acoustic set specifically tailored to the day. Moreover, the fest will boast “Pilgri-mashups,” pairing artists together for special one-time collaborations on stage. The Little Pilgrims Stage will be more than a kids’ play area; it will feature a line-up of talented young musicians in their own right, to inspire and entertain kids and adults alike.

The region’s best food and drink will be on display at the Kitchen and Sippin’ stages at scheduled times throughout the weekend, and carefully selected food and merchant vendors will be featured in the Bazaar. When performances wrap at 7:30pm each day, guests can conveniently head back into the heart of downtown Franklin, within walking distance from the Park at Harlinsdale, to imbibe the best of the town’s restaurants, shops, and great weekend lineup of nighttime shows.

Ultimately, Pilgrimage Music & Cultural Festival invites folks of all ages on a journey to experience a myriad of musical styles, a bevy of food and beverages, and the rich regional spirit of Franklin, TN.

For more information and to purchase tickets please visit Pilgrimage Music & Cultural Festival.

QUORUM HEALTH CORP.

Southeast Venture announced that Quorum Health Corp. has signed a long-term lease for a 40,000-square-foot building that the commercial real estate firm is developing in Mallory Park, an office park near Cool Springs Galleria in Brentwood. The newly leased building is one of two 40,000-square-foot buildings Southeast Venture is developing on a 12.5-acre lot on Mallory Lane known as Dimension at Mallory Park Phase I. The two buildings will surround a courtyard, giving the project a “campus feel.” Southeast Venture is the architect for the building and the firm will also provide interior design services to guide the build-out of the premises for Quorum. Southeast Venture’s leasing team, Michael Finucane and J.C. Darby, represented their company in the lease transaction and Bo Tyler and Tom Hooper of JLL represented the tenant. T.W. Frierson Contractor is the builder for the project.

Quorum Health Corp.’s new headquarters will be the first building constructed in Phase II of Mallory Park, a 33.5-acre parcel north of the original office park that was rezoned for commercial use in 2010. Southeast Venture is the developer of Mallory Park and will continue to own the building with its investors.

“We are very pleased that Quorum Health Corp. has elected to keep its headquarters in Brentwood. Mallory Park will be a great new home for the company, especially with the new Flagpole Park within walking distance,” said Brentwood Mayor Regina Smithson.

page1image14832

“In order to meet Quorum’s timeline, we plan to begin tenant construction on October 15 and have the building ready for occupancy by early next year,” said Southeast Venture Principal Cam Sorenson. “We are prepared to meet this aggressive deadline: the concrete slab is already poured, utilities are already being installed and walls began going up last week. The type of structure we are building – which is similar to a two- office complex we developed in MetroCenter for HealthSpring – goes up quickly.”

“Quorum will occupy 50 percent of the total space available at Mallory Park,” said Finucane. “We’ve had a lot of activity and are looking forward to filling the remaining 40,000 square feet soon.”
