Iroquois Steeplechase
The Iroquois Steeplechase is Nashville’s rite of spring since 1941, and the season’s premiere race in American Steeplechasing. Gates open at 8:00 a.m. First race at 1:00 p.m. Last race ends at approximately 5:30 p.m. with the featured race, the Iroquois & The Cheltenham Challenge.

Iroquois Steeplechase Pre-Race Party
Kick off the Iroquois Steeplechase weekend with a pre-race party on the grounds, Friday, May 12! Hosted by the Iroquois Alliance, the sunset soirée will be held in the Fox Den tent in the middle of the infield from 6:30 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. and attended by owners, trainers, riders, and Steeplechase fans and supporters.
