DESCRIPTION:Tennessee Preservation Trust – Battle of Nashville Bus Tour – Nashville\, TN\nPlease join us July 9\, 2016 for our Historic Tennessee Tours event\, Battle of Nashville Bus Tour with David Currey. \nOn this special tour by bus\, historian and documentary filmmaker (and former TPT Board Chair) David Currey will guide us through sites and stories of the Battle of Nashville. He will share the significance of the battle and how this middle Tennessee landscape has been transformed by the events of the Civil War. We will drive the forward lines as well as visit sites including Fort Negley\, Grandburry’s Lunette\, redoubt #1\, and Peach Orchard Hill. \nWe are excited to have Currey lead the second event in our new Historic Tennessee Tours series. This is a unique opportunity to experience his Battle of Nashville Bus Tour\, which he has offered only on a very rare occasion in the past.  \nThe three-hour trip begins and ends at Fort Negley. The $65 ticket includes expert commentary\, luxury coach transportation\, a copy of our Historic Tennessee coffee table book\, and one-year free membership to TPT. \nThe bus leaves promptly at 9am and returns at noon.
