City of Franklin Announces Second Public Involvement Meeting for Columbia Avenue

Widening & Improvements Project

FRANKLIN – The City of Franklin invites all users, corridor tenants and interested citizens to attend its second public involvement meeting for the Columbia Avenue (State Route 6 and U.S. Route 31) Widening & Improvements Project on Tuesday, January 31, 2017.

The public involvement meeting will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 31, 2017, at City Hall, located at 109 3rd Avenue South, Franklin, TN, 37064.  A formal presentation will begin at 6:30 p.m., with individual discussions at 6:00 p.m. and again after the presentation.

Attendees will learn about the proposed design concepts from City staff and the project team and have the opportunity to provide feedback. Our purpose is to allow stakeholders of all types the opportunity to participate in the public engagement process.

The City of Franklin Engineering Department is responsible for the implementation and coordination of projects such as the Columbia Avenue Widening Improvements Project. For additional project information, please visit the Columbia Avenue project page at http://www.franklintn.gov/ColumbiaAvenue
