DESCRIPTION:\n\nFranklin\, TN – The Lotz House is hosting a “Book Day” to showcase the third edition of The Lotz Family\, Survivors of the Battle of Franklin\, offer a new Lotz House Photo Guide and a first-time coloring book on Sunday\, Oct. 29 from 1 – 4 p.m. A sidewalk sale will be held Thursday through Saturday\, Oct. 26 – 28 from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. to sell donated items\, ranging from lamps and Civil War guns to books and relics. \n\n\n\n\nThe Lotz Family book\, co-authored by J.T. Thompson and Robert Z. Carlisle II\, tells the story of the Lotz Family and their experiences with success\, tragedy\, heartbreak and war. The guide book and coloring book debut this month just in time for the holiday gift giving season. \n“Since our last issue\, we have unearthed more information\, photos and stories about the Lotz family through artifacts found in and around the home and cellar and our incredible visitors who come from all over the country\,” said Lotz House Executive Director J.T. Thompson. “Visitors have been asking for a photo guide book for years and we’re happy to provide them with one that showcases each room\, as well as the antiques and decorative arts.
