DESCRIPTION:STORY TIME AT TIMBERLAND PARK  \nFree family event October 28 \nParents and their kids ages 7 and younger are invited to join the staff at Timberland Park for a short nature walk and Halloween story on Friday\, October 28. Choose from a morning hike at 10:00 a.m. or afternoon hike at 3:00 p.m. This event is free\, but we’d like to know you are coming\, so please register in advance at www.wcparksandrec.com\, event #8254. Participants should wear closed toe shoes. \nTimberland Park is open Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday through Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Admission is free. The 72-acre park is located on the historic Natchez Trace Pkwy. just south of the famous “Trace” bridge over Hwy. 96 West and is managed by Williamson County Parks and Recreation. \nMake plans to visit Timberland today!
