Hosted by both The Carter House and Carnton Plantation\, guests will meet Civil War re-enactors and get hands on experience with clothes\, trades\, and weapons of the past. SUMMARY:CVQA'S HISTORIC DOWNTOWN FRANKLIN QUILT SHOW
DESCRIPTION:Enjoy a day in Historic Downtown Franklin:  great shops\, restaurants\, and of course\, CVQA’s “Historic Franklin Quilt Show”.  Our location this year is central to Franklin’s beautiful neighborhoods and colorful Main Street\, so you can shop\, eat and walk around to your heart’s content. \nThis year’s CVQA Quilt Show\, located in the meeting hall at the west end of St. Philip Catholic Church Center\, will feature 100 quilts by members\, including our Civil War Reproduction Challenge quilts.  Vendors from all over Middle Tennessee will display a full range of fabrics\, tools\, books\, kits and both sewing and embroidery machines presented by two well-known local shops. \nWe invite community centers\, church\, school\, civic and seniors groups throughout our community\, along with quilt guilds everywhere\, to join us for this great event.  If your group would like a personalized tour of our Quilt Show\, we suggest scheduling your visit.   We are wheelchair accessible; bus drop-off is adjacent to the entrance\, and parking is plentiful in nearby city garages and streets. \nST. Experts treat and work to prevent all health issues ranging from common childhood conditions to serious\, advanced diseases. Featuring Centers of Excellence for the treatment of diabetes and congenital heart disorders\, Children’s Hospital also operates the region’s only level 1 pediatric trauma unit and a neonatal intensive care unit with the highest designated level of care. In addition\, Children’s Hospital is a top-level teaching and research facility.
