DESCRIPTION:4th Annual Kids Arts Festival of Tennessee – Saturday\, June 2\, 2018 –  Hosted by City of Franklin\, TN – Municipal Government\nFine Arts Exhibit\nWe welcome all Tennessee Kindergarten through 12th Grade Artists to apply to display your original pieces in this juried exhibit. We will accept and include a wide variety of art pieces in multi-media platforms. \nWinning pieces will be displayed at the Fire Hall Art Gallery in City Hall in Downtown Franklin throughout the summer months. 2018 Fine Exhibit Application.  Deadline to submit will be May 21st\, 2018. \nStage Performers\nDo you dance\, act\, sing\, play and instrument\, or write poetry? We are looking for talented groups and individuals to perform on the stage at the Kids Arts Festival of Tennessee.  Whether you are a seasoned performer or just starting out\, we would like to highlight the variety of talent in Tennessee. 2018 Performance Application.  Deadline to submit will be May 21st\, 2018.   \nArt Interactive Stops 2018 \nWith thanks to the Tennessee Arts Commission\, ‘Arts Build Communities Grant’ there will be two unique interactive art stops at this years festival. This grant will allow us to bring in professional artists who will lead collaborative hands-on workshops for kids and their parents to experience the artists’ artmaking processes first hand.   \nNick Satinover\, a printmaker who will be running an etching press – Kids will be able to learn and experiment with the printmaking process first hand from this amazing artist.   \nMeaghan Brady Nelson\, a painter\, will be running an interactive mural at the festival. Please be sure to have your kids stop by so they can make their permanent mark as an artist at Pinkerton Park.   \nArt Stops \nSeveral area organizations and  businesses generously offer their time and financial support to allow festival attendees the opportunity to experience the arts in new and unique ways.  \nHand Crafted Art Sales \nThe Kids Arts Festival of Tennessee allows for young artists to sell their original artwork to festival goers. 2018 Handcrafted Art Sale Application.  Each vendor must provide their own set up. \nFor more information\, please see website. \n  \n
