SUMMARY:Annual Sunset Concert Series
DESCRIPTION:\n \n\n\n\n\n\nThe Battle of Franklin Trust has announced the dates and lineup for its annual Sunset Concert Series\, a family-friendly\, summer tradition providing outdoor concerts on the east lawn of Carnton. This year’s schedule includes fan favorite musical acts: \n\nSunday\, June 24: FAB: A Beatles Tribute\nSunday\, June 29: Resurrection: A Journey Tribute\n\n\n\nEvent gates open at 4 p.m.\, and concerts take place from 6 to 8 p.m. Guests may bring chairs\, blankets and picnics. Food and beverage\, including alcohol\, is permitted. Food trucks and a drink tent with beer\, wine and cocktails will also be onsite. Pets\, tents and grills are not allowed. Parking is free and available on site. \n\n\n\n\nTickets are $5 for children ages 6-15\, $10 for adults in advance and $12 at the gate. Tickets may be purchased ahead of time at Carnton or Carter House\, as well as online beginning June 1 at www.boft.org. In the event of inclement weather\, every effort will be made to reschedule the concert. DESCRIPTION:The Williamson County Parks and Recreation Department’s award-winning children’s theatre group\, the Star Bright Players\, presents Disney’s The Lion King Jr. on Friday\, Saturday and Sunday\, June 29-July 1. Watch the African savannah come to life as Simba\, Rafiki and friends journey from Pride Rock to the jungle and back again in this coming of age tale.  The talented all-youth cast will take you along on a fantastical romp through this colorful production. \nPerformances of The Lion King Jr. are Friday\, June 29 at 7:00 p.m.\, Saturday\, June 30 at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. and Sunday\, July 1 at 2:00 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center at Academy Park\, 112 Everbright Ave. in Franklin\, TN.
