SUMMARY:TN ANTIQUARIAN BOOKSELLERS BOOK FAIR
DESCRIPTION:  \n\n\n\nThe fair will include a variety of collectible and rare books\, autographed documents\, and other ephemera. Bibliophiles will discover modern first editions of literature\, mystery\, and science fiction. Collectible books and documents concerning the War Between the States\, the American Revolution\, and both World Wars will be available. Dealers specializing in children’s literature\, art\, religion\, fine bindings\, and books about books will also be exhibiting at the fair. SUMMARY:Sunset Concert Series
DESCRIPTION:Carnton Plantation serves as a unique venue for friends and families to relax on the lawnand listen to some of area’s most talented musicians. The gates open at 5 p.m.\, and the music lasts from 6 – 8 p.m. Tickets are $10 in advance or $12 day-of for adults and $5 for children (6-12) and may be purchased either in advance or at the door. Guests are welcome to pack picnic dinners or take advantage of on-site food and beverage vendors. \nThe Battle of Franklin Trust has announced the dates and lineup for its annual Sunset Concert Series\, a family-friendly\, summer tradition providing outdoor concerts on the east lawn of Carnton in Franklin. \nThis year’s schedule includes fan favorite musical acts: \n\nSunday\, June 30: Johnny Cash Now\nSunday\, July 28: Resurrection: A Journey\n\n\n\n\n“We are grateful for another season of the Sunset Concert Series\,” said Eric A. Jacobson\, CEO of The Battle of Franklin Trust. “Carnton is the perfect place to host the community and music lovers alike\, and we enjoy being able to offer a family friendly event for the summer.” \nEvent gates open at 4 p.m.\, and concerts take place from 6 to 8 p.m. Guests may bring chairs\, blankets and picnics. Food and beverage\, including alcohol\, is permitted. Food trucks and a drink tent with beer\, wine and cocktails will also be onsite. Pets\, tents and grills are not allowed. Parking is free and available on site. \nOn June 30\, tickets are $5 for children ages 6-15\, $10 for adults in advance and $12 at the gate. On July 28\, tickets are $5 for children\, $12 for adults in advance and $15 at the gate. Tickets may be purchased ahead of time at Carnton or Carter House\, as well as online at www.boft.org. In the event of inclement weather\, every effort will be made to reschedule the concert.
