153rd Battle of Franklin Anniversary & Illumination
Luminaries will light up recently reclaimed battlefield around the Carter House to commemorate the Battle of Franklin. A ceremony begins at 4:00 pm, followed by the reading of names of soldiers who fought in the battle. Carter House and Carnton will be open for walk-through tours from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. This event is free and open to the public. Thursday, November 30 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm Check website for more information.
