Flavor of Franklin

Want to enjoy some of the amazing food available in and around Franklin? 

Check out the “Flavor of Franklin” on August 24th.  The Flavor of Franklin opens up the Great Americana BBQ weekend with a celebration of the area’s best food and beverages.  Over 20 local restaurants and specialty food vendors will be on hand to give you a taste of some amazing food.  Imagine sampling tasty appetizers from one restaurant, a bold entre from another and a decadent dessert from a small specialty food vendor.  All this while enjoying the evening with friends on the grounds of beautiful Harlinsdale Farms. Live music will be paying on the main stage for your entertainment. Craft beer and cocktails will be for sale at the Flavor of Franklin Bar.

Proceeds from Friday nights Flavor of Franklin will benefit local culinary arts programs.  The Franklin BBQ Society is committed to helping local students who dream to become culinary professionals and want to develop the necessary cooking techniques and other skills essential to success in the industry.  Tickets for the Flavor of Franklin will be available for $20 online as well as at the gate.

The Flavor of Franklin is hosted by The Franklin BBQ Society and The Franklin Noon Rotary Club (FNRC). The FNRC has dedicated over six decades of service to its community and has distributed over two million dollars to local charities. FNRC continues to produce The Franklin Rodeo, Williamson County’s longest running annual event, celebrating its 70th year.

 

The Battle of Franklin Trust Legacy Dinner

The Battle of Franklin Trust, which manages Carnton and Carter House, will host its Legacy Dinner, formerly the McGavock Dinner on Friday, April 27 at Carnton. The signature black tie affair will feature cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and a gourmet dinner, in addition to live entertainment.
