Nashville’s largest Food and Drink Festival is celebrating 16 years at Public Square Park on June 16th, 2018!

Battle of Franklin Trust Announces Eighth Annual Bootlegger’s Bash
Leigh Bawcom, Bess and Tim Kearns announced as event co-chairs
FRANKLIN, TN – The Battle of Franklin Trust will host its eighth annual Bootlegger’s Bash on Friday, Sept. 28 at 7 p.m. at Carnton, located at 1345 Eastern Flank Circle in Franklin, TN. Leigh Bawcom, Bess and Tim Kearns will serve as the event co-chairs.
The annual event invites guests to celebrate Williamson County’s unique history of bootlegging. All proceeds from this ticketed event will support the revitalization of the springhouse at Carnton.
“We are so excited to host the eighth annual Bootlegger’s Bash with three dedicated co-chairs,” said Jayde Jacobs, wedding and event coordinator at The Battle of Franklin Trust. “Guests are sure to enjoy a night of all things Southern.”
Bawcom returns to this event as a co-chair after kickstarting Bootlegger’s Bash while she was the special events coordinator from 2010 to 2014. Having grown up in Franklin and studied history in college, Bawcom has a passion for supporting the Battle of Franklin Trust’s mission.
Bess and Tim Kearns have been supporters of the Battle of Franklin Trust since the mid-1990s. Tim became a board member in 2006 and has served as President, overseeing the construction of the Fleming Center and other major milestones along the way. Together, the Kearns have chaired several events and even celebrated their daughter’s wedding at Carnton.
Bootlegger’s Bash will include dinner, drinks and entertainment in the garden at Carnton. Tickets are required and will be available soon online at www.boft.org. Tickets are $65 per person or $100 per couple. Bootlegger’s Bash is a strictly 21-and-up event.

The sixth-annual Friends of Franklin Parks “Raise the Roofs” event promises to be the best party of the summer, including bites from some of Franklin’s most wonderful restaurants, plenty of equestrian-themed entertainment, and a polo match to cap off the evening.
The event, to be held Saturday, August 19th from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., will take over the Tractor Supply Co. Arena at the Park at Harlinsdale Farm, with a tented grass berm and the natural beauty of the farm as a back drop. Tickets to the event, which includes food, drinks, live entertainment and a live and silent auction, are available for $100 per person. And for the first time, a general admission ticket is available to watch the polo match for $15. All proceeds benefit Friends of Franklin Parks and the organization’s efforts to continually enhance and connect the City’s 16-park system.
