Benefits:  African Leadership (AL), a local organization committed to providing church leaders with theological education and come along side these leaders as they work to impact their local communities across the continent.

Cost: Host a reserved table for ten for $1000 or buy individual tickets for open seating at $100 in advance…$125 at the door.  Register at WWW.FabulousFriendsForAfrica.org   Cost includes buffet dinner, silent auction and dancing to the music of Sam Levine and the City Lights Band.

What to know:  Started by a group of women turning 50 who wanted to raise money for the needy in Africa instead of hosting a birthday celebration for themselves.  In its tenth year, the women who call themselves Fabulous Friends for Africa have raised more than $600,000 for women and children in Africa.  Proceeds raised through the party this year will benefit women and children in Africa who have been through traumatic experiences, like poverty or trafficking.

VERIDIA is a unique fusion of alt-rock with electronic elements, wrapped around the evocative vocals and presence of frontwoman, Deena Jakoub.

Of Egyptian descent, Deena’s look and voice when mixed with the electronic/rock soundscape provided by co-founder and guitar player, Brandon Brown, drummer Kyle Levy and guitarist Trevor Hinesley is capturing fans at every show.
