A Vintage Affair’s 17th annual Main Event will be held on Friday, April 21st in Liberty Hall at The Factory at Franklin.

The evening will feature an array of local food, wine, and bourbon tastings, along with silent and live auctions throughout the event. The funds raised will go to our 5 beneficiaries for 2017, all of whom support women and children in need of Williamson County. For more information, please visit www.avintageaffair.org. An evening of Broadway music performed by some of your favorite local theatre artists. The cast includes Leslie Berra, Nikki Berra, Mark Buchanan, Alex Cook, Preston Crook, Carrie Greening, Jeremy Hargis, Will Lasley, Brett Myers, Kendall Rogers, Lindsey Stone, Kaitlyn Sumner and Alex Wasson. Advance tickets are $18 for Adults and $16 for Military, Senior and Students and will also be available at the door: $20 for adults and $18 for Military, Senior and Students.

Come out to Owl’s Hill for a free hike! Join one of our staff members or volunteers on a guided hike through Owl’s Hill. This is a great opportunity for families, individuals, and small groups to come enjoy the trails of Owl’s Hill and get some exercise. The hike will be approximately two to three miles with some moderate hill climbs included. Hikes will start at 1:00.

Nashville Lawn & Garden Show – 2017 Dates, Theme

Show times are:  Thursday – Saturday, 10a.m. – 8p.m.; Sunday 10a.m. – 5p.m.

The Nashville Lawn & Garden Show will return to The Fairgrounds Nashville on Thursday, March 2, through Sunday, March 5, 2017. The four-day, indoor Show will celebrate Plant a Forest: Gardening for the Future with garden displays, lectures, vendors, floral designs, and some special features for children.

“With this year’s show, we will showcase the traditional gardens our visitors have come to love, in addition to new ideas in sustainability, gardening for those living in urban areas, and even ways in which our next generation can become involved in gardening, recycling, and preserving the landscape,” said Randall Lantz, co-manager of the Nashville Lawn & Garden Show. “We look forward to welcoming everyone to the 2017 Show.”

The centerpiece of the Nashville Lawn & Garden Show is the walk-through, interactive garden displays from some of Middle Tennessee’s top landscape and gardening companies. An extensive schedule of free lectures from guest experts and the Davidson County Master Gardeners are offered each day on a variety of topics ranging from beekeeping to edible gardens. For shoppers and green thumbs alike, the Marketplace is filled with more than 150 vendors with 250 exhibit booths offering of a variety of plants, seeds, home décor, gardening equipment, books, and free advice for your next gardening project. The region’s top floral designers showcase their talents in the floral design gallery.

Now in its 28th year, the Nashville Lawn & Garden show is Tennessee’s largest and most popular annual gardening event. More than 18,000 people from around the mid-south region visit the Show each year. The family friendly Show is indoors and is fully handicapped accessible. On-site parking is available and shuttles are provided. The Fairgrounds Nashville is located at 500 Wedgewood Avenue, Nashville, TN.

The Nashville Lawn & Garden Show, the largest annual horticultural event in Tennessee, features live gardens, free lectures, a vendor marketplace, floral design gallery and special events including demonstrations, wine tastings, and children’s activities. Owl’s Hill is holding its third annual Ultimate S‘more Valentine’s Day Hike. After getting your heart pumping hiking the wooded trails, guests will retreat to the pavilion for hot chocolate and gourmet s’mores. Create delicious s’mores from a variety of chocolates, graham crackers, marshmallows and toppings. Fun for the whole family. Children two and under are free. Registration required.
