Williamson County Parks and Recreation’s annual “Touch a Truck” is Saturday, October 21. This free family friendly event will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the parking lot of Thompson Station Church, 2604 Thompson Station Road and Columbia Pike. Kids of all ages will have the opportunity to look at, climb on and sound all the bells and whistles on nearly 30 different kinds of large scale construction and public service vehicles.

We have some great performances lined up this summer so pack a picnic, gather friends and family, and head on over to Owl’s Hill for an evening of fun, friends and music. Arrive early to stake out the perfect picnic spot, meet Owl’s Hill’s non-releasable live owls and go for a hike!
Gates open at 5:30 pm for picnics, hikes and meeting the owls; Music starts at 7:00 pm.

12 teams vie for the the Sulpher Dell Cup. Come enjoy America’s favorite pass time, 1860s style! The rules, uniforms, even the music is accurate to the Civil War. The 39th Annual Franklin Classic benefitting Mercy Community Healthcare is scheduled for September 4, 2017!
Mark your calendars, gather your teams, invite friends and family to this great event! There will be live music, a free Fun Zone, vendors, and more! The race will include a 10K Run, 5K Run/Walk, a 1K Kids Run. From serious runners to leisurely walkers, all start and finish in Historic Downtown Franklin, Tennessee. Carnton Plantation serves as a unique venue for friends and families to relax on the lawn and listen to some of area’s most talented musicians. The gates open at 5:00 P.M. and the music lasts from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children (6-12) and may be purchased either in advance or at the door.
