This is the 8th annual “Celebration of Nations Festival”. The Sister Cities’ goal for the Celebration of Nations is to create a passion for global diversity and understanding of traditional arts, foods and sensory experiences of various immigrant cultures. This festival is a unique experience for citizens of the surrounding community to learn more about our neighbors both here and abroad.
This event happens in Historic downtown Franklin and includes 2 stages of international entertainment, international beer and wine station, and multiple craft and food vendors. The Main stage will be on 4th Avenue South. Food and craft booths will be located on 4th Avenue South, and the alley that connects to the downtown square. The 2nd Stage will be at the end of the alley in front of the old court house. There will also be booths in the quadrant on the square directly in front of the 2nd stage. (This is the quadrant of the square where the Mellow Mushroom is located.) There is no admission for this event, so, come on down!
The event begins at 10 a.m. and ends at 9:00 p.m..
