Little River Band was the first Australian band to successfully conquer foreign markets from an Australian base. Within eight months of their birth, LRB had already scored three Australian Top 20 singles and two Top Ten albums. In 1976, after their self-titled debut album was released in the USA, the long grind of 13 US tours in eight years had begun.

Super Bowl Sunday

Come watch the biggest game on the biggest screen in Downtown Franklin! Join the Franklin Theatre for a fun filled evening of football, games, snacks, and more. Admission is free and seating is reserved.


Game time is 5:30 PM, and they will open our doors ar 4:30 PM. Free parking is available on the street as well as in the parking garages located on 4th Avenue and 2nd Avenue. There will be games in the lobby, and the Puckett’s Trolley will be in front of the theatre serving traditional party foods such as ribs, hotdogs, wings, nachos & sliders. The concession stand will also be open serving popcorn, sodas, candy, pizza, beer and wine. Other than food purchased at the Puckett’s Trolley. Please do not bring any other outside food or drink into the theatre.

Exile – Christmas CD Release Concert

Having recently celebrated their 50th year as a group, Exile is set to release their first-ever Christmas album this season.

It’s titled “Wrapped Up In Your Arms for Christmas” and their live performance at the Franklin Theatre will feature tracks to celebrate the season, along with many of the fan favorites from their long list of #1 hits through the years.

The award winning country rockers are one of the most exciting live acts to grace our stage. With three gold albums, two Greatest Hits CDs, several multi-platinum singles and thirteen award nominations from the Academy of Country Music (ACM) and the Country Music Association (CMA), the band has one of the most solid reputations in the world of country music.

The Franklin Theatre was also honored to be the scene of their first “live” album and a DVD project entitled “Exile – Live from the Franklin Theatre.”

This special holiday evening will be a treat for the whole family and is also a fundraiser for the Southern Alliance for People and Animal Welfare (SAFPAW), a non-profit organization in middle Tennessee helping the homeless community face the daily challenges of living in poverty with their pets.
