The FiftyForward Martin Center is pleased to announce that Grammy-award winner Amy Grant will headline the 10th Annual Music and Memories concert on Tuesday, June 23 at 7:30 p.m. benefiting the FiftyForward Martin Center.  Amy Grant’s career spans more than 30 years and stretches from her roots in gospel to becoming an iconic pop star, songwriter, television personality and philanthropist. With three multi-platinum albums, six platinum albums and four gold albums, her total career album sales exceed 30 million. In addition to six Grammy Awards, Grant has earned 26 Dove Awards and has been honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Tickets are $100 for the VIP package, which includes wine, hors d’oeuvres and an opportunity to meet Grant from 5:30 – 7 p.m. at the FiftyForward Martin Center in Brentwood, transportation to the Franklin Theatre for the 7:30 p.m. concert and transportation back to the Martin Center. Concert only tickets are $60.

The VIP package goes on sale Tuesday April 21 and may be purchased by calling the Martin Center at 615-376-0102.

Westhaven Porchfest

The 4th Annual Westhaven Porchfest is scheduled for June 20, 2015.  This year’s event will include 26 porches throughout the community with over 100 musicians, representing a wide variety of musical genres.  Kicking off at 4:00 PM, musicians will perform on the front porches around the community, while the audience moves from place to place to take in all the music.  At 7:00 PM, the music moves to the big stage on the lake to wrap up the evening with Tim Akers and The Smoking Section.  Food trucks will be on hand at both the Westhaven Residents’ Club and in the Town Center to provide refreshments.  In addition, all the restaurants in the Town Center will be serving up Porchfest specials!
