St. Matthew Church in Franklin will host its tenth annual Art For Inspiration Art Show and Sale Saturday, November 14, 6-9 p.m. and Sunday, November 15, 9:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.. The event is free beginning Saturday evening with an adult only reception, offering free food and wine, along with live music and a silent auction. (Complimentary childcare will be provided) On Sunday, families are welcomed to attend the Art Show.
The featured artist is Lisa McReynolds, a C.P.A. turned full-time artist whose work reflects her love of nature. Over 30 artists will be joining Lisa including several emerging artists and first-time participants who will showcase their work in oil, water color, mixed media, pottery, jewelry, glass and photography. Heroes in Heels showcases the survivors in the Y’s After Breast Cancer (ABC ) program. This special event fully funds the Maryland Farms YMCA’s After Breast Cancer Program, a completely free 16-week program open to any and all breast cancer survivors.
Tickets and tables will be available for purchase online until midnight, Sunday, October 4th. The advanced ticket price is $40. Tickets will still be available to purchase the night of the event at the door for $50. Tables must be purchased in advance.
The free cocktail hour begins at 6:00 p.m. and the program will begin at 7:00 p.m.
