Swim, Bike and Run your way to the finish at the 6th annual Half-Pint Triathlon on Saturday, May 20 at the Franklin Recreation Complex.
Register now for this fun family event presented!
The All registration is by mail, and forms and event rules are available Williamson County Parks and Recreation Centers or on line at www.wcparksandrec.com — under Programs/Half Pint Triathlon.
Only the first 100 entrants will be accepted. The entry fee is $20 per child, payable with registration forms.
Athletes will be divided into two age groups:
Juniors, ages 8-9
Juniors will swim 50 meters in the pool, bike 1.5 miles and run 0.5 miles.
Seniors, ages 10-12
Senior entrants will swim 100 meters, bike three miles and run one mile.
- Each child will receive an official triathlon medal and t-shirt.
- Children must be accompanied by parents, and all racers are required to wear appropriate swim wear in the pool and shoes while biking and running.
- Each child should bring a bicycle and a helmet to the event.
- Packet pick-up is Friday, May 19 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Franklin Recreation Complex.
Race check-in begins Saturday, May 20 at 6:00 a.m. with a transition area meeting at 7:00 a.m. for racers and parents, followed by a race time of 7:30 a.m.

Join us for an EXCLUSIVE chance to hang out with Lil BUB and The Dude, as they both take us on a magical journey through space and time.
Lil BUB captured the world’s imagination in 2012. Her big eyes, dangling tongue, and “perma-kitten” features make up her distinguishing appearance, but her remarkable story, her determination, spirit, and inspirational message of acceptance, positivity and hope are what have earned her millions of devoted fans. Since her rise to international fame, Lil BUB has been the focus of an award-winning documentary Lil BUB & Friendz, hosted a talk show web series with guests like Whoopi Goldberg and Michelle Obama, has published two books, and most recently, released a Billboard-charting album.
As with all BUB appearances this entire event is a fundraiser. Proceeds will benefit The Williamson County Animal Shelter and Lil BUBs Big FUND for special needs pets.

Monty Python’s Spamalot is a hilariously irreverent parody of the Arthurian legend, inspired by the 1975 cult classic movie “Monty Python and the Holy Grail.” Marking their first performance together in a Studio Tenn musical, our own Matt Logan and Jake Speck will lead the cast of local and national all-stars. These ragtag Knights of the Round Table bring our exploration of perspectives full circle with a side-splitting reminder to “always look on the bright side of life.”

Kick off the Iroquois Steeplechase weekend with a pre-race party on the grounds, Friday, May 12! Hosted by the Iroquois Alliance, the sunset soirée will be held in the Fox Den tent in the middle of the infield from 6:30 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. and attended by owners, trainers, riders, and Steeplechase fans and supporters. Tickets are $75 each and include a delicious buffet dinner catered by Jim ‘N Nick’s Bar-B-Q, full beverage service and entertainment by The Exotics. We’ll also auction off this year’s painting by our Featured Artist, fabulous items and packages donated by upscale merchants and sponsors, an exciting international trip, and more!! Proceeds will benefit the Iroquois Steeplechase and its various causes.
