About TBCH
For 125 years, Tennessee Baptist Children’s Homes has proudly served Tennessee communities, providing loving homes for children who have been orphaned, abandoned, neglected and many times abused. Our mission is to minister the love of Jesus Christ to children and families in crisis, accepting all children regardless of race, creed or socio-economic background. We do not accept government funding and rely on gifts from supporters, so that we may continue to teach our children Christian values.

Today, TBCH has five locations throughout Tennessee and cares for approximately 200 children each year through our residential care program. In recent years, we also began the Denise and George Shinn Foster Care Program, through which we train and equip families in our community to receive and care for children through Tennessee’s Department of Children’s Services system.
