A unique wine-tasting event in historic downtown Franklin that benefits the Boys & Girls Club of Franklin/Williamson County

For more than 115 years, Boys & Girls Clubs of Middle Tennessee has enabled all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. Annually, more than 4,000 youth walk through the doors of the nine Middle Tennessee Boys & Girls Clubs. Clubs are located in Davidson & Williamson counties. Clubs provide a safe place, professional caring staff, fun and friendship, and high-impact youth development programs on a daily basis during critical non-school hours. All concerts start at 7 p.m. Concerts are held in Crockett Park at the Eddy Arnold Amphitheater. Various food trucks are at all concert events, so feel free to come early to get some dinner or a snack for before and/or during the show The Fourth of July concert is always held on the 4th of July, no matter what day of the week it falls on.

Immerse yourself in an evening of charm & allure at Geist’s French Country farm dinner hosted at Cortina Farms, a sprawling European-inspired property tucked away in Leiper’s Fork on Thursday, June 20th from 7-9 PM. This unique dining experience led by Geist’s Executive Chef Seamus Rozycki will feature five French-inspired courses and beverage pairings, live bluegrass music and hot air balloon rides in the bucolic outdoor landscape of Cortina Farms where many of Geist’s fresh ingredients are sourced. This event is rain or shine and will be relocated to the property’s chic indoor/outdoor barn upon inclement weather. A limited number of tickets are available for $125 per person. It will feature handmade goods designed by local artisans as well as high-quality vintage finds. Market admission is free, but guests are encouraged to learn about and support the community-focused non-profit highlighted each time.
This free event is a great way to Create Community Together. Five times a year we gather local makers and pickers and have an outdoor market. The December 2 event has Grace Works as our non-profit spotlight, along with food trucks, live music, a cooking demo, and more to round out your Sunday. Come join us from 10-4 at the Shed behind the Factory at Franklin.

Every Girl Counts Charity Dinner
Every Girl Counts is committed to improving the lives of girls living in poverty by providing access to a high school education. They currently have a program of 70 students and intend to add 50 girls in 2019. On Thursday, November 8 Every Girl Counts will host an evening of artisan BBQ featuring local Franklin eatery Hogwood BBQ, live music, and a silent auction to raise funds for their Education Sponsorship Program. All proceeds give a girl a future with education.

The Franklin Wine Festival – a celebration of wine and food at The Factory at Franklin
The 2018 Franklin Wine Festival is presented by Cool Springs Wines & Spirits and supported by Nissan. Join Big Brothers Big Sisters of Middle Tennessee for the 14th annual Franklin Wine Festival on October 12. The entire Factory at Franklin complex becomes a “sip and stroll” event like none other. Wines from across the globe abound with typically more than 300 selections coupled with 30 area restaurants and caterers. Live music is on multiple stages and areas, and the event features a silent auction, crowning of a “King and Queen of the Vines,” and other fun surprises.
