Charlotte Avenue location event features annual Bell’s Hopslam and four other specialty beers

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Five Points Pizza is partnering with Bell’s Brewery to host a beer event on Thursday, Jan. 31 from 6 – 10 p.m. at their west-side shop located at 4100 Charlotte Ave. The event will feature the annual and highly-anticipated release of Bell’s Hopslam beer, a double IPA clocking in at 10% ABV. The folks from Bell’s will also be showcasing four other specialty and hard-to-find releases, including the Uberon (barell-aged Oberon American Wheat Ale), 2018Expedition Stout (Russian Imperial Stout), Larry’s Latest Flamingo Fruit Fight (tart fruit ale brewedwith passionfruit and lime) and Lager of the Lakes (Bohemian Pilsner).

“We’ve partnered with Bell’s in the past for events and have always had a blast. The crew they are planning to send is super friendly and as beer savvy as they come. There are few opportunities to discuss these beers with the folks who actually know the recipes and processes,”said David Tieman, co-owner of Five Points Pizza. “They take their beer as seriously as we takeour pizza, and it results in a really great combo – especially when it only comes around once a year.”

In addition to their full menu, Five Points Pizza will be serving its popular Hot Hawaiian pie topped with spicy capicola, pineapple, fresh jalapenos by the slice for the event.

Tieman added, “Paired with Hopslam, the Hot Hawaiian strikes a perfect balance of spice and sweet that compliments the hops and honey flavor profile of the beer.”

The Hot Hawaiian slice and Hopslam pairing will be offered as a $10 combo for the event.Additionally, guests can enjoy a $10 flight of Bell’s other hard-to-find specialty beers.

No tickets or reservations are needed for the event, and guests can drop by the 4100 Charlotte Ave. location of Five Points Pizza on Thursday, Jan. 31 any time between 6 -10 p.m. to enjoy the specials. More treatment options are needed, and the innovative research we’re funding through the fundraising efforts of our community can help ensure everyone diagnosed with the disease has a fighting chance.”

The Free to Breathe events community has raised over $16 million to support groundbreaking research and educational programs since 2005. Funds raised support life saving lung cancer research, promote access to clinical trials while building and empowering the lung cancer community.

Selections from Every Holdin’ My Own 2017 Tour Stop Will Be Released Beginning Today Through the End of the Year Exclusively to Apple Music

Double Disk Collectible Box Set and Vinyl Slated for Release Record Store Day 2018

61 Days in Church Art | Size: 2.4 MB| Type: JPG | > Download

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Sixty-one tour dates, an average of 37 songs per night, totaling over 200 hours of live music. That’s what Eric Church ultimately played in a five-month period spanning January 13 through May 27, 2017. In an issue takeover, Church hinted something big was to come post-tour telling Billboard, “We recorded all of it. We had some [songs] that I was adamant that I wouldn’t rehearse with the band. I would tell the band a couple hours before the show, ‘This is the song we’re going to do,’ and then I wouldn’t see them until we did it, when we played live…’” says the man Stereogum calls “our greatest working rock star.” Now, those recordings are being released across 61 Days in Church. Beginning today fans will have access to 30 initial live recordings from various stops across North America. Then, subsequent releases through the end of the year – including some catalogue and cover songs as well as songs inspired by events that happened while he was on the road – released chronologically to complete the list. The tracks will initially be released only on the Apple Music platform for a two-week period before being made available on all streaming services.

“I had so much fun learning songs that were unique to whatever city we found ourselves in,” Church reflects. “I learned a lot about each place, and it was special to see the crowd react to the songs that were only for them.  I’m glad we recorded it and can relive it forever.”

With the unique, individual tour posters from each tour stop serving as the artwork for each week’s release, 61 Days in Church drops just as fans can see a different show from Church as he takes the stage in Tahoe this Labor Day weekend for two sold-out nights at Harvey’s Lake Tahoe Outdoor Arena.

Church’s Holdin’ My Own Tour sold 930,000 tickets at the end of its run notching his as the top music tour in the first quarter of 2017 (Pollstar), but as Dave Brooks (Billboard Magazine) noted, “Fans will remember that tour by another metric: the marathon three-and- a-half hours Church played nightly as he crisscrossed the United States and Canada.”

Comedian Sebastian Maniscalco Coming to Nashville in December

“The comedian’s comedian” (People Magazine) is taking his “braggadocios” (Billboard) stand-up routine to more than 10 cities across the U.S. this fall including stops in never-before-headlined markets Nashville, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Louisville, St. Louis & more

Sebastian Adds Momentum to 2017 “Top 20 Global Concert Tour” (Pollstar)
NASHVILLE, TN. – Sebastian Maniscalco continues to build upon arguably the most successful year of his career yet: In 2016 he was named Just For Laughs Stand Up Comedian of the Year, selected for People Magazine’s annual “Ones to Watch” package, and his third hit special Why Would You Do That? was declared Showtime’s most successful comedy/variety special premiere in 2016. This year, shortly after welcoming his daughter, Serafina, into the world with his wife Lana, he set the record for most consecutive comedy appearances at the Borgata with a seven-performance stint in Atlantic City in early July. Maniscalco continues to adhere to the voice he describes as “always in the back of my head saying ‘Don’t rest!’,” announcing today his plans to take what The New York Times calls his “own kind of panache” across the U.S. this fall. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, July 21sebastianlive.com for all details.

“I just had to go on tour this fall because with a new a baby, comes new material,” shares Sebastian.

Dubbed “one of the hottest comics” by Newsday and “one of the funniest comics working stand-up today” by Esquire,Sebastian’s live performance has become a critically-acclaimed event, with the Los Angeles Times raving, “onstage, there’s an impatience to Maniscalco’s delivery as well, a hair-trigger exasperation with people and modern life, punctuated with baffled expressions, percussive thumps on the microphone and wide-swung leg kicks more associated with an Olympic speed-skater than a stand-up comic.”

In addition to starring in his wildly popular podcast as heard on SiriusXM , “The Pete and Sebastian Show,” Maniscalco is making several major motion picture appearances this year including a voice-over role in the animated feature “Nut Job 2,” a role in the New Line Feature comedy “The House” starring Will Ferrell and Amy Poehler, as well as a role in the independent drama “Cruise,” directed by Rob Siegel and produced by Jeremy Renner.Sebastian Maniscalco Fall 2017 Tour Dates:
