Fairyland, one of our most popular programs, is returning April 20th to give boys and girls the opportunity to construct their very own fairy houses – or perhaps add to the ones they built last time. Participants are invited to collect natural materials from the orchards and meadows of Owl’s Hill or purchase special items with “fairy gold” at the Gnome Depot. Pick a spot around Fairyland and create a dwelling fit for a fairy or elf. While visiting, stroll through our Storywalk® trail and read a story as a family while enjoying the natural beauty of our woods.

Let’s learn about the furry creature called the groundhog! According to folklore, if a groundhog sees its shadow there are 6 more weeks of winter. But if the day is cloudy and the groundhog does not see its shadow then spring will soon arrive. Children will look for groundhog tunnels & make a groundhog to take home.
