Dog show and expo in Tennessee.Dog Show and Expo 

Williamson County Parks and Recreation (WCPR) invites local pooches and their humans to join us for the Second Annual Dog Show and Expo “Pooch-A-Palooza” at the Nolensville Bark Park (Nolensville Park Road, near Nolensville Elementary School and Nolensville First United Methodist Church). The event is scheduled for Saturday, March 30 from 12:00 noon – 3:00 p.m. There is a $10 participation fee for pooches who would like to strut their stuff in a performance of showmanship. There will be several competitions including:

Best Costume: Dress up your pooch in their best outfit and show them off on stage.
Best Trick: Have your best friend show off their coolest trick.
Best Retriever: A staff member will throw a ball or frisbee for your dog to retrieve.

Best Bark: Have your pooch show off their bark.
Prizes will be given in each category.

Participants must provide proof that dog vaccinations are up-to-date upon check-in (Parvovirus, Distemper, Rabies, and Adenovirus). Dogs must be kept on a leash unless it is his or her turn to participate in a competition. Participants must clean up any pet waste and provide them with water.

The event is free for spectators. Williamson County Animal Center will be on hand with some adoptable dogs, and other vendors will be on site as well. Event sponsors are Camp Bow Wow of Smyrna and My Second Home in Franklin, TN.

The City Farmhouse Pop-up Fairs are located in the heart of Historic Downtown Franklin, TN, just a half a mile from Main Street at The Factory at Franklin. The Factory is home to dozens of shops, restaurants, entertainment venues and more.

WHO:           Le Creuset, maker of trusted premium cookware

WHAT:         Le Creuset’s first Factory-to-Table sale event in Nashville, will happen next weekend at the Music City Center beginning Thursday, September 28 with a VIP preview shopping event through Sunday, October 1. Each shopping session features special discounts on a large selection of Le Creuset products from around the world, including colors and shapes rarely seen in the American marketplace.

Tickets, which are now available for purchase in two-hour shopping sessions here, are $10 for Friday and Saturday and free-of-charge Sunday with the donation of a pantry item (pre-registration still required). 100 percent of the proceeds from all ticket sales benefit local nonprofit partners The Nashville Food Projectand Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee.

VIP EVENT: The Factory-to-Table sale event kicks off Thursday, September 28 with a special VIP preview shopping event at the Music City Center from 4 until 9 p.m. The event, which is offered to the public at a premium ticket price of $25, grants early access to the floor products and sales, live music and tasty bites and sips to fuel shoppers. Attendees of the VIP Event will also get the chance to see special live demos from four of Nashville’s top chefs, including:

  • 5 p.m. – Chef Jason Zygmont of Treehouse will be preparing a Tomato Braised Squid
  • 6 p.m. – Chef Margot McCormack of Margot Café will be preparing a Fall Vegetable Gratin
  • 7 p.m. – Chef RJ Cooper of Henley will be preparing a Southern Cassoulet
  • 8 p.m. – Chef Andy Little of PRIMA & Josephine will be preparing a Candied Carrot Soup
