15th Annual Main Street Brewfest: Tap into History! (St. Patrick’s Day)

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in Historic Downtown Franklin and Tap into History at the 15th Annual Main Street Brewfest presented by Lipman Brothers! This fun event will boast over 70 beers across multiple tasting locations on America’s Favorite Main Street. For beer lovers spanning all ages (21 and over), Main Street Brewfest offers craft brews from established and new breweries, both local and abroad. Enjoy restaurants, local food trucks, shopping, entertainment and plenty of Irish cheer — on St. Patrick’s Day!

Franklin’s Main Street Brewfest is produced by the Downtown Franklin Association, a nationally accredited Main Street Program and a division of the Heritage Foundation of Franklin & Williamson County. Proceeds from the event go to the continued revitalization and promotion of the 16-block historic district, which is on the National Register of Historic Places and designated by the National Trust as a Great American Main Street and a Preserve America community.

This event is a fundraiser for the Downtown Franklin Association and will be held rain or shine. Refunds are not available.

On Saturday, March 17, from 5 – 8 p.m, the Downtown Franklin Association will host its popular Main Street Brewfest on St. Patrick’s Day, and with the luck of the Irish, guests will have the opportunity to participate in more than 50 tastings with more than 70 craft beers. The annual festival is presented by Lipman Brothers and hosted in Historic Downtown Franklin in the Public Square,109 Third Avenue South, Franklin, TN.

In addition to the large assortment of brews, the St. Patrick’s Day festival will feature live music by Boomerang and food trucks. Guests must have a ticket to participate in the beer tastings but not to enjoy the festivities. Main Street will be open to all pedestrian traffic and restaurants and many shops will remain open for business.

The 28th Annual Antiques and Garden Show of Nashville will take place in the heart of downtown at the Music City Center February 2–4.

Kicking off the event’s festivities, the Preview Party will be taking place Thursday evening, February 1. This spectacular opening night gala is one of the most anticipated events of the year. This year’s party will be hosted by the Show’s Honorary Chair, New York architect Gil Schafer, and will feature handcrafted cocktails, light-fare local tastings and a book signing of “Inspired By Color” with Clinton Smith, editor in chief of VERANDA. The 28th Annual Antiques and Garden Show of Nashville will take place in the heart of downtown at the Music City Center, 201 Fifth Ave. S. Nashville, TN, on Friday February 2 – Sunday, February 4, 2018. Featuring more than 15,000 attendees and over 150 fine antiques and horticultural dealers from across the country, the show is the biggest of its kind in the United States. Proceeds from the show will benefit Cheekwood and the charities supported by the Economic Club of Nashville. To encourage shopping local, the Downtown Franklin Association partners with The Factory at Franklin and the Franklin Transit Authority to provide free transportation with the Hop & Shop Trolley.

The shuttle is a heated and handicap accessible form of transportation for passengers to take into downtown Franklin from The Factory. Running in 30-minute shifts from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., the festive trolley will begin with special guest City of Franklin Mayor Ken Moore on Nov. 25 and will continue Dec. 2, 16 and 23.
