A Vintage Affair’s 17th annual Main Event will be held on Friday, April 21st in Liberty Hall at The Factory at Franklin.
The evening will feature an array of local food, wine, and bourbon tastings, along with silent and live auctions throughout the event. Middle-aged siblings Vanya and Sonia share a home in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, where they bicker and complain about the circumstances of their lives. Suddenly, their movie-star sister, Masha, swoops in with her new boy-toy, Spike. Old resentments flare up, eventually leading to threats to sell the house. Also on the scene are sassy maid Cassandra, who can predict the future, and Nina, a lovely, young aspiring actress whose prettiness somewhat worries the imperious Masha. This is a sophisticated, clever, contemporary comedy which won the 2013 Tony Award for Best Play.
