The CityFarmhouse Pop-up Fair, held the third weekend in June and October is a 2 day vintage and antiquing extravaganza featuring 80 hand selected vendors from all across the U.S. The Fair was named one of the top five events to attend in October by Southern Living, the top October event to attend in Tennessee by Garden & Gun, and the Number 1 Flea Market/Antique Show by RomanticCountry in 2015 and 2016!

Friends of the Library Book Sale

wcpl_friends_logowThe Friends of the Williamson County Public Library will hold a book sale May 19-21, at the main library. Sale hours: Friday & Saturday 9am-4:30pm, & Sunday all day $5 bag sale 1pm-4:30pm. The Members Only Preview Sale will be on Thursday evening May 18, from 5-7pm.

Just in time for summer reading!  Donations have been generous for this sale. We will have literally thousands of new and used donated books for sale including paperbacks, hardcovers, Fiction, Non-Fiction, Children, Teen & Young Adult books, Antique/Vintage books, Coffee-table books, and various media items such as audio books, CD’s, and DVD’s. All books will be neatly sorted by subject and arranged by category. Prices range from 50-cents to $5.00 each, and there are no buyer restrictions. We accept cash, check, Visa & MasterCard.

Book Sale days & hours are as follows:

*Thursday, May 18th from 5-7pm Members Only Preview Sale (Memberships may be purchased at the door.)

Friday, May 19 – General Public: from 9:00am-4:30pm

**On Sunday, we will have a $5 Bag Sale all day for the general public. Bags will be provided, and you can fill as many bags as you like for only $5 each. Go Green & bring your own cloth or canvas bags about the size of a grocery shopping bag.

In 2016 Friends of WCPL donated over $20,000 to the Williamson County Public Library. We hope to exceed that amount in 2017. Proceeds from this sale, along with your generous donations, will go to fund The Friends of the Library which is dedicated to help support the Williamson County Public Library.

The Friends of the Williamson County Public Library (WCPLtn) is a non-profit, 501(c)3 service organization dedicated to the advancement of our community through its library. Friends’ contributions, fund-raising activities, and volunteer efforts support adult and youth programs, maintain and increase collections, and provide new technologies, equipment and other improvements. Friends-sponsored book sales are held four times a year with all monies going directly back into the library.

The Friends of the Library believes our public library is the heart of the community and is dedicated to enriching lives. The Friends believes the library helps satisfy the thirst for knowledge and seeks to maintain and enhance the library services offered to the citizens of Williamson County.

The free spring celebration, which is one of the largest events in the state of Tennessee, is expected to draw a crowd of about 120,000 for a fun-filled weekend of music, arts and crafts, food, and children’s activities.

Proceeds from the event benefit the Heritage Foundation of Franklin and Williamson County and its division, the Downtown Franklin Association, and their missions, respectively: to protect and preserve the architectural, geographical and cultural heritage of Franklin and Williamson County, and to promote the ongoing economic revitalization of Downtown Franklin in the context of historic preservation.

Main Street Festival activities will run Saturday, April 29, from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Sunday, April 30, 11 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
