THE HISTORIC NOLENSVILLE BUTTERCUP FESTIVAL is THIS Saturday, April 8th. 10:00 am – 5:00 pm. It is held in the Historic District of Nolensville, TN along Nolensville Road nestled in the middle of town bordering scenic Mill Creek. There will be over 100 vendors and artisans with hand made art, jewelry, wood crafts, soaps, candles, and more! Also a variety of food trucks. Be sure to visit The Historic District Shoppes, they will be offering specials during the Festival. You don’t want to miss The Civil War Re-Enactors, 46 Tennessee, The Easter Bunny, Sam the Balloon Man, Games for the Kids, Lucky Ladd Farms, The Little Miss and Miss Buttercup Pageant, Live Music, Presentation of the Buttercup Scholarship Award, Festival T-shirts, and MUCH MUCH More! The weather is going to be awesome so come enjoy a relaxing family day and experience the essence of the Small Town of Nolensville.

Tap into History at the 14th Annual Main Street Brewfest presented by Lipman Brothers! Held in Historic Downtown Franklin, TN, the event will boast over 80 beers across 35 tasting locations on America’s Favorite Main Street. For beer lovers spanning all ages (21 and over), Main Street Brewfest offers craft brews from established and new breweries, both local and abroad. Enjoy a vast selection of local food trucks, shopping, Celtic performers and plenty of Irish cheer — just in time for St. Patrick’s Day!

Franklin’s Main Street Brewfest is produced by the Downtown Franklin Association, a nationally accredited Main Street Program and a division of the Heritage Foundation of Franklin & Williamson County. Proceeds from the event go to the continued revitalization and promotion of the 16-block historic district, which is on the National Register of Historic Places and designated by the National Trust as a Great American Main Street and a Preserve America community.

This event is a fundraiser for the Downtown Franklin Association and will be held rain or shine. Refunds are not available.

Friends of WC Library Book Sale

Open to General Public March 3, 4, 5, 2017 – Members Only Preview Sale March 2nd

The Friends of the Williamson County Public Library will hold their first book sale of 2017 on March 3rd, 4th & 5th, Friday, Saturday 9am – 4:30pm & Sunday all day bag sale 1pm-4:30pm. The Members Only Preview Sale will be on Thursday evening March 2nd from 5-7pm.

We will have literally thousands of new and used donated books for sale including paperbacks, hardcovers, Fiction, Non-Fiction, Children, Teen & Young Adult books, Antique/Vintage books, Coffee table books, and various media items such as audio books, CD’s, and DVD’s. All books will be neatly sorted by subject and arranged by category. Prices range from 50-cents to $5.00 each, and there are no buyer restrictions. We accept cash, check, Visa & MasterCard.

Book Sale days & hours are as follows:

*Thursday, March 2 from 5-7pm Members Only Preview Sale – Memberships may be purchased at the door.

Friday, March 3rd – General Public from 9:00am – 4:30pm

Saturday, March 4th – General Public: 9:00am – 4:30pm
